01.06.03 - Welcome...
So this is the first in the Mark's Musings section. I've been trying to think of what to write for it, but everything I've been thinking of is just way too long. So with that said I would like to take this moment and talk about the show last night at T.T. The Bear's. The show was important to us for two reasons. Firstly, T.T.'s has become a major corner stone on the Boston music scene. Once you've played there you start to be taking "seriously" within the scene. So it was important that we play it and not screw it up. Second is because it is such a corner stone in the scene that we feel proud to become part of it's history. It was such an honor for us to play there. With all things said and done I think the show went over extremely well. We got to play with the super tight Simple Discourse and the guys from You And Who's Army were really nice fellas. We managed to win over some new supporters, and I think the guys who worked at T.T.'s where very impressed. We also world premiered two new songs "Fetid" and "Free Winona". Much to our surprise some one there had a Free Winona bag!! We played the hardest we've ever played, and man, I am hurting today! But, it was totally worth it. What a night. If you were there we send out a big thanks to you for coming down on such a cold snowy night. For those of you who weren't there, why not!?! Don't you love us!?! Aren't we good to you?? Just kidding.
